I'm very happy with IXWebHosting. They are fast and has a friendly support, They provide you tons of space for web and also for database, they provide too a lot of SQL dbs and bandwidth like no other for the price - is nice to be free to have space enough to do everything you want; also you may host several sites using the same account. I already hosted my site on terrible support hosters, now I know how important is for a webmaster to do not lost time and having headaches with support guys but focus on the strategy of your site. Sometime you need to talk a lot with them to get your problem solved or the have the things working like you want, but they always do what the you want in the end and reply very quickly. I never saw myself my site down, sometimes I notice some MySQL errors on log (probably the DB connections fails) but it is very rare. I'm the kind of guy that do not think 2 times before opening a ticket: Every time I open a ticket or talk with the chat guy when I have a small doubt - on beginning I thought that they would kick me for that - but now I know that they are always very helpful and no matter how much of tickets you open they will always provide a quality support. Last week I downloaded wordpress and asked if they had some tips for installing it ~ they just offered to install their selves for my convenience. Minutes after I open the ticket they installed wordpress for me from control panel (I didn't notice that their control panel has a wordpress installation) - It was very nice to do not need to worry about installing it. I every time recommends IX web Hosting, I would not go to another hosting site.

I'm using IXwebhosting from a long ago and it is a very good deal, especially the $12.95/mo plan that has everything you can imagine It provides a lot of free registration and so. Their support is very good too, very efficient. They have a lot of PHP scripts that runs very well and is very easy to install.

IX is still the best, right after the migration 3 years ago I noticed that this would be the hosting company that I could host all my sites. Today I have 13 sites hosted there and no problem since beggining. Support is very useful and sometimes they provide me support about things that they are not supposed to like PHP, etc.. IX Web Hosting is still the best.

They have been very good for about 20 months. You get outstanding features/service for the packages price. I love their chat, it really works, I don't like phone support (prefer things written) and I'm normally lazy to open tickets - this is why I like chat support and their chat support is very good. I recommend IXweb.

I'm using IXwebhost for about 1 year and they've been very useful. One thing that most people don't notice and I think that is very important is that IX Web Hosting allows you to perform remote MySQL access, making things very easy. I perform regular backups and manage MySQL using my favorite program

I have used IXWebhosting for years and had no problem so far. The few small problems that I had, support people solved the problem without any problems. Now I'm moving out of IX Webhosting due i need a managed dedicated server, but I could use their shared hosting as VPS without any problem.

Pros: not like my previous hostings that had a lot of problems.

I had a lot of problems while dealing with hosting companies in the past. I thought that I would never find a company that I could work without problem, but finally I found IXweb that is an excellent company. I've chat a few times with support team and they've been always very useful and very fast. Control panel is nice and do not miss any important. I just Hope that they continue to be so useful on the next years.

Cons: has slowed to a crawl with transfer to new server bank

I had good experience with IX up until about 3 months ago when they clearly were mismanaging their servers and not providing enough buffer for basic work on my sites. They suggested I transfer to a "brand new server bank" and now server speed has slowed to a crawl. They denied the problem for months and have only recently begun to acknowledge a problem. But rather than proactively communicate the problem to customers, they begrudgingly admit it only when I call the help line!! I don't trust these guys!!!

Cons: Very slow, too many downtimes, lost emails

Fantastic package, but totally unreliable, I have 4 domains hosted by them, so when they have problems, they are all down. Support have usually been quite good, though, and fairly prompt, but haven't used the help line, just live-chat. Today has had erratic service, with intermittent uptime, mostly down for the last three hours, and lots of email messages not arriving at their destination, can't even contact support today. I'm really disappointed, is there actually any good hosting companies? I think you do get what you pay for.

This is all I have to say: Don't use Ixwebhosting: My site was every time slow like hell!! (Sometimes it was down) and even I try to contact they telling about the problem constantly they never solved it. Their 24x7x365 live chat is hosted at a foreign country (probably India) and these guys don't know nothing about web hosting (they even don't speak english) ~ after suffering for 12 months I decided to quit and this is what I have to review about them.

Well, it all starts from your first meeting and normally it happens to be this live chat. I thought I would ask a couple of questions first before I actually do anything but surprisingly all support guys were so stupid and slow on replies... this support thing must be located at some really remote and obscured wild woods! I had a feeling they couldn't even type at a reasonable speed and had to translate my words from English into whatever their native language they daily use! Most probably they used some additional software for translataion as thier English was just terrible! It took a whole lot to get a standard answer from them! Now do you think after my first meeting like that I would be willing to go any further? They were good at copy-pasting stuff from manuals though but you do not really need a support team to have manuals copy-pasted to you! All in all and on the other hand you should be just fine if you know what you are doing unless their tickets' help is not as dumb as their chat...

After reading a lot of web hosting reviews around there we decided to move to IX Web. It was a bad idea as we began to have email problems so we could nor send/receive mails from out host. When we decided to contact live chat they asked us to open a ticket, after we open a ticket, they asked us to contact live chat again. :-( We do not recommend them.

I have been with IX Webhosting for a few years. Most of that time they were not that bad and there were just occasional server outages. Now that they moved their servers to Ohio, the service is horrible. The servers are down most of the time and E-mail delays and lost E-mail are common daily. The online chat tech support is from the Ukrain and their is a heavy English barrier. They give you canned messages about every problem and they like to use the word "it" to describe every problem. Expect replys like "The Administrators are aware of it and are working the best they can to solve it". The problem is they can never tell you what "it" really is. The term you get what you pay for really applys to this Webhost Provider. They are ok for a hobby site, but don't use them for your business.

Very slow host. Like insanely slow sometimes, and I have a good connection. Problems uploading and timeing out. Called customer service numerous times, and my host is still really slow. My client already paid for a year so there pretty much out of there money. Visit the website and find out for your self. www.bodyshopsalon.com Ohh did I mention it worked great for the 30 days when we could have got our money back? Then suddenly the downtime and slowness kicked in and hasn't left since.

After over two years of good service, IX appears to no longer want my business. They now have me stuck on a server which constantly crashes, and takes several hours every time to get back on line. the latest outage is 9 hours and counting, with no reply to tickets and no confirmation of when it will be back up. Thier customer service is helpless, their techs appear to be disinterested in maintaining anything close to their stated 99.9% uptime.

Cons: Bad Support, Worse Email Support and ogoing issues with connectivity.

This is the worst hosting company on the planet. Erika (their ad video girl) must be the person who designs and supports their systems. Email is down more than it is up and they fail to tell customers they are a third-world class company. Try calling for support, you'll be 25th in line and hitting 0 for operator takes you back to the menu. My guess is they actually operate out of a barn in rural Kentucky because that's what their technology and support would suggest. And I've written books on communications and been involved with telecommunications professionally for 30 years. Stay away from this outfit, they are literally bad news and their support is all but non-existent.

i thought it was a good host, because of their so-called awards, but then after they transfer their servers to a new location, they are always down. forum and blog... mySQL server always down. they said that there is someone hacking their system.. that means servers not secure. right now this is the 8th time that forum and blog do not work, and they still can't say when the problem will be resolved if ever they can resolve it.

Website hosting seems to work fine, their email service is deplorable! We experience email delays on a regular basis, usually around 3 hours! I am moving my site to a company that will charge three times as much and I can't wait to pay it!

i have only 10 days with this company, guess what! i call them 5 times, i used the live chat 15 times, chat live agent says "My name is blablabla how may i help you today?" and disappear for 5 more minutes to get an answer (i guess this answer from the begining is an auto-answer machine or something like that, anyways,). Then, comes again and says "sorry for the delay" and then disappear 5-10 minutes, then sorry for delay, etc...and then says: please send a ticket is better, so you fill up a ticket and send it then wait for 3 to 5 days to get an answer. This company really sucks!! please if somebody know about a good hosting company (not by an affiliate please but by a consumer) let me know.

for 4 months can't solve technical issue in thier server, just can post many links show you the angry customers. and thier blog as following: Awesome! (5 posts) Maintenance (9 posts) Outage (152 posts) Upgrades (2 posts) chck the outage number, it's so funny.
